IMPORTANT: This application is for the Collaborate Original experience. If your Institution uses Collaborate with the Ultra experience, you can join sessions directly from your mobile browser. If you are not sure which version of Collaborate you have, ask your moderator or institution administrator.

With Blackboard Collaborate Original Mobile, you can join web conferencing sessions right from your iPhone or iPad.

NOTE: This app must be enabled by your institution to function and is free for you to download. To find out if Blackboard Collaborate Original Mobile is available at your institution check in with your helpdesk or IT department.

With Blackboard Collaborate Mobile, participants can join a live web conference for online classes, meetings, one-on-one tutoring, group projects, office hours, and much more.

With Blackboard Collaborate Original Mobile, participants can:

• View whiteboard content, including images, presentations and annotations
• View shared applications and desktops
• Communicate with moderators and other participants via two-way video, audio and text chat
• View web tour and multimedia content presented by the moderator.
• Respond to yes/no and multiple-choice polling questions
• Raise their virtual hand for questions or comments
• Use emotions to indicate laughter, confusion, or approval
• View the names, polling responses, and emotions of other session members
• Participate in breakout room sessions

To attend sessions via Blackboard Collaborate Original Mobile, your institution must have a hosted enterprise Blackboard Collaborate web conferencing license version 12 or higher. Check with your helpdesk or technology department for more details

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! What's wrong with this app? I clicked the Install button. It popped up with a screen say "It will be installed in your device soon". I waited hours to see if it was installed. I tried to do it 3 times. But it has never happened. I did not see any install processing. Does anyone have the same problem that can help me?

App doesn't do anything. I have an online class that requires me to use blackboard collaborate, but I can't download it since there's only options for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Solaris. I have a Chromebook, and I tried using this app to get around that, but it just redirects me to the download page for the other platforms. Tried this on my phone too and it does the same thing.

I have no idea what Session URL the app is asking for. I click a join link from my class on canvas which used to work just fine before and connected me automatically. I have tried everything like inputing the PIN or Participant Dial In numbers,my name, logging out and in as well as installing and re-installing both apps. I was able to use this app without problems for a long time in the past. However, one day it just decided to not work on my device anymore. Please help me. This is distressing.

this app doesn't have access to the recorded videos, defeating the entire purpose for a mobile app.. though I thought this was a low hanging fruit and would have been fixed way back. but seems developers are just not interested in the usability of the app.. another app built for the sake of building things. disappointed.

Please fix the microphone and video setting for the phone

My son needs this for his online school, K12, and we use a chromebook. So of course theres no support for us. App doesn't work, no compatable download for the program.

I like it how I'm able to listen to my classes on the go, BUT I strongly dislike how I cannot listen to any of the class recordings. It really hinders the point of having an "on the go" mobile app. If you can fix it, I'd change my rating.

It only works for devices it wants to work for me and my brother are online school and online school uses blackboard it kind of sucks i need the extra credit point and im stuck I can't log into any of my blackboard collaborate sessions it the app and program it won't even work on my laptop I HATE BLACKBOARD COLLABORATE!!! now because of this stupid app im going to fail 7th grade😠can you plz respond as soon as possible because I am failing here you need to fix this app,app it has worked before🤔

If we raise our virtual hand in the session and if the network connection is lost then our name go downs the list's order (if we click on virtual hand to raise it) after the n/w connection is regained.. Due to this the person coming after us goes up in the list.. Need to repair the glitch.

Useless piece of junk. Wouldn't go into session complaining about no microphone permission, which it had already 😠😡

World's worst lottery. Occasionally it works. Most of the time it doesn't. Maybe you might get lucky and have it actually connect like it's meant to but more than likely your experience with this app will end in frustration and wasted time.

I can hear the person but cannot see video, nor can they hear or see me. Absolutely useless.

Educators beware : this app does not allow all devices! Developers: this has been an ongoing issue for 4 years.. write a bridge or patch work to fix this issue. This paltform is not that hard to write for.

Would be amazing if it actually worked. I'm looking at the other reviews and notice a lot of people having similar issues. It just redirects me back to where i started over and over. So fustrating.

Fantastic app and works great just my keyboard gives a little bit of trouble to type and stuff on the app but other than that the app is great
